O meni Board Games for Bandits
First there was Bluey.
Then there was a Facebook group for Bandits called "Bandits: The Bluey Group For Dads" (https://www.facebook.com/groups/1603325766532604/).
Then there was a discord group for Bandits who like RPGs called "RPGs for Bandits" (https://discord.gg/VEeAKah9sr)
Now there is a Board Game Arena group called "Board Games for Bandits".
Same rules apply.
1. Have fun
We're here because we're dads who love Bluey and roleplaying. We are a wholesome group, a refuge from the worst of the internet and we want to keep it that way. Let's support each other and chat about Bluey and RPGs.
2. No hate speech or bullying
Make sure that everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind will result in a warning and possibly a ban. Degrading comments about things such as race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.
3. Be kind and courteous
We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.
4. Respect everyone's privacy
Being part of this server requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What's shared in the server should stay in the server.
5. No swearing unless in context / No explicit content of any kind
We're all adults so keep swearing to a minimal but in context such as telling a story, etc. is fine. Explicit material of any kind is forbidden. If role playing starts leading into explict territory either fade to black or take it to Private Messages by mutual consent.
6. Religion and Politics
This server is a secular, non-political group open to members of all faiths and political beliefs on the understanding that real-world political and religious expressions should not become the subject of discussions. If squabbling occurs due to real-world political or religious topics, the conversation may be deleted without warning, and warnings may be given if hate speech or bullying is involved.
Discussions about in-game politics and religions are acceptable as they can be integral to the storytelling and world-building aspects of our games. However, if these discussions spill over into real-world politics and religions they will be subject to first section of this rule. If in doubt, refer to the other rules: "Have fun", "No hate speech or bullying", and "Be kind and courteous".
7. No fundraising
We are, and wish to remain, a very supportive group and we care very much about the wellbeing of all of the dads in here. Due to risks of fraud and people being taken advantage of, we feel that keeping financial transactions, including fundraising and gofundme pages, out of our server is important, including links to these external sites. We will, however, remain as emotionally supportive as possible.
8. No sales & no ads
If you operate Bluey themed or inspired shops on various platforms that's great and it's ok to mention if it comes up in conversation. However, no selling of actual products or financial transactions should take place in the server. Any members who spam their promotions will be muted. All sales are at your risk.
9. No blocking moderators
Anybody found to have blocked ANY moderator will be removed from the server. If you have a problem with an individual moderator, contact another moderator directly to discuss and find a resolution. No exceptions.
