It is not always about novelties, glitter and awesomely published games.
It is important not forget the roots of some traditional Board and Card Games and keep their legacy by proposing games for a wider audience. Their longevity proves that they belong in our collection.
It is amazing to discover how some games were simply a step ahead in gaming history, and how some still appeal to a huge audience today.
And that is why we want to release a few classic games you might already know [or not] today!
The special thing here is that they have all been developed by ufm, an outstanding developer who is responsible of a lot of game adaptations on Board Game Arena.
Let's call it "a day".
So, to keep it short, let us see what is on the menu today:
"RUMMY"
By definition, Rummy is a group of games related by the feature of matching cards of the same rank or sequence and same suit. The basic goal in any form of rummy is to build melds which can be either sets (three or four of a kind of the same rank) or runs (three or more sequential cards of the same suit) and be either the first to go out or to amass more points than the opposition. It is a very popular choice on BGA with more than 400 games in progress, daily!

"PRESIDENT"
President (also commonly called many names ^^) or Capitalism) is a shedding card game for three or more, in which the players race to get rid of all of the cards in their hands in order to become "president" in the following round. There is plenty of variations to this game, and 4 of them are available on our platform!

"GOLF"
Golf is a card game for two or more players, in which the object is to score penalty points as little as possible, as in the sport of Golf. Each player has a layout of cards, initially face down, which can be successively replaced by new cards drawn from the stock or discard pile. It is also pretty well played on Board Game Arena, and no doubt there will be more people enjoying it!

"DOMINOES"
Dominoes is a family of tile-based games played with dominoes. Each domino is a rectangular tile with a number of dots.
This implementation includes various domino connection games using a traditional double six domino set. It is a real classic and we are more than happy to offer it on our service.

"GIN RUMMY"
Gin rummy, or simply gin, is a two-player card game variant of rummy. It has enjoyed widespread popularity as both a social and a gambling game, especially during the mid twentieth century, and remains today one of the most widely-played two-player card games.

CLASSIC COLLECTION 2: Igre koje možda već znate ili ne!
Ne radi se uvijek o novitetima, blještavilu i sjajno objavljenim igrama.
Važno je ne zaboraviti korijene nekih tradicionalnih društvenih i kartaških igara i zadržati njihovu ostavštinu predlažući igre široj publici.
Njihova dugovječnost dokazuje da pripadaju našoj kolekciji.
Nevjerojatno je otkriti kako su neke igre jednostavno bile korak naprijed u povijesti igara, a kako su neke i danas privlačne ogromnoj publici.
I zato želimo objaviti nekoliko klasičnih igara koje možda već znate [ili ne] danas!
Posebna stvar ovdje je da ih je sve razvio ufm, izvanredni programer koji je odgovoran za mnogo adaptacija igara na Board Game Arena.
Nazovimo ga dan".
Pa da skratimo, pogledajmo što je danas na jelovniku:
"REMI"
Po definiciji, remi je skupina igara povezanih značajkom podudaranja karata istog ranga ili slijeda i iste boje.
Osnovni cilj u bilo kojem obliku remija je izgraditi spojeve koji mogu biti ili setovi (tri ili četiri iste vrste istog ranga) ili nizovi (tri ili više uzastopnih karata iste boje) i biti prvi koji će izaći ili skupiti više bodova od oporbe.
To je vrlo popularan izbor na BGA s više od 400 igara u tijeku, dnevno!

"PREDSJEDNIK"
Predsjednik (također se često naziva mnogim imenima ^^) ili Kapitalizam) je kartaška igra za troje ili više, u kojoj se igrači utrkuju riješiti se svih karata u svojim rukama kako bi postali "predsjednik" u sljedećem krugu .
Postoji mnogo varijacija ove igre, a 4 od njih dostupne su na našoj platformi!

Golf je kartaška igra za dva ili više igrača, u kojoj je cilj osvojiti što je moguće manje kaznenih bodova, kao u sportu golf.
Svaki igrač ima raspored karata, u početku okrenutih licem prema dolje, koje se mogu sukcesivno zamijeniti novim kartama izvučenim iz zalihe ili hrpe odbačenih karata.
Također se prilično dobro igra na Board Game Arena i nema sumnje da će više ljudi uživati u njoj!

Dominoes je obitelj igara temeljenih na pločicama koje se igraju dominom.
Svaka domina je pravokutna pločica s određenim brojem točkica.
