At the beginning of their turn, they had a ladder. Their turn then had to end without a ladder.
They moved one of the pilots of the ladder on top of the other, resulting in a situation where a 4-flyers tower was surrounded by 3 2-flyers towers. Jumping was an illegal move, and so the game ended before the jump.
This special situation might have caused the wrong game conclusion to be displayed.
