8 games in a row, at least one player had doubles on the 3 die roll when baring off. Clearly there is an issue with the randomness of the dice at least when baring off.

I've heard the complaint of a skewed randomizer many times and I feel the same way. While possible you should see three double fives of sixes, 9:2 doubles which I faced in games lately should only happen every couple 1000 games.

I understand that these special lucky/unlucky happen more often than you would expect, still my impression is that there is a heightened number of doubles in the end game and that the weaker player is getting a better shot.

The computerized randomizer a reproducible algorithm unless provided with a random seed.

Either way if you win you feel like you are cheating, if you loose you feel like you are cheated. Either way not a good experience.

Have played 2 games in 2 days....each day/game the opponent had multiple doubles on 3 successive rolls in the game on their turn..not possible in a real life roll of the dice....go ahead BGA roll the dice and tell me how many rolls it took you to get 3 of sets doubles one after the other.......not happening especially during the duration of one game.

There are far too many doubles, qnd frequently biased to one player.

Games turn very one sided. Too many doubles in clusters and usually for only one person. 6's show particularly frequent. Spoils the strategy when one person get's doubles repeatedly while the other gets 1-2 and 1-3.

I agree after playing several games there are far too many doubles given out to one player. Sometimes I benefit and sometimes it is my opponent. There is definitely a skew in the game which means it isn't really a fair representation of the game.

Ce bug devrait être jugé prioritaire.
Toutes les considérations ci-dessus sont exactes et vécues par moi, en tant qu'usager gratuit puis comme membre premium, depuis quelque trois ans.
J'ajouterais ceci encore: il est fréquent et presque systématique que le logiciel favorise les plus gros joueurs, i.e. plus haut placés dans les résultats.
Dernière partie: Jouer à 9 doubles contre un seul est absolument inéquitable.
Cela provoque de la frustration et chez certains une quasi-agressivité.
Ou alors le joueur lésé se plaint à l'autre joueur avantagé et ce n'est pas plus agréable.

there's nothing realistic about the number of doubles that get rolled in these games. We need a better random dice generator that behaves more like real life...

Please review the program for the doubles repartition
No possibility to have fun playing with the actual system
Some times, it seems the program is untuned... and mainly unfair

Aucune logique dans la victoire attribuée en finale au joueur haut placé dans les scores. Les dés de la dernière séquence l'ont systématiquement avantagé.
Et cela s'est reproduit à nombreuses reprises dans une multitude de parties au fil des semaine et des mois. Le programme avantage les très bons joueurs, c'est clair pour tous les joueurs avec qui j'ai échangé.

Et les doubles à répétition en fin de partie quand le jeu de l'autre joueur est bloqué ou désavantagé?

Le problème est systématique. Doubles en trop ou pas assez, répartition inéquitable.
Impossible de remonter la côte avec ce logiciel ou alors cela ne dure pas.
J'abandonne BGA

Problème maintes fois répété chez divers joueurs
Rendre plus équitable la répartition des doubles entre les partenaires au long de la partie.
Je réfléchis sérieusement à abandonner mon abonnement Premium

The dice appear to have knowledge about the current state of the game. Imagine the incredible luck of having just 9 pieces left on the board while your opponent has only moved 2 pieces the entire game. Watch the above match roll by toll. The lopsided luck is quite incredible.

I have noticed that if I begin the game with "good luck", then that luck tends to persist through the game, with more doubles than my opponent and hitting more blots. If I begin with "bad luck", I'll tend to roll doubles when I'm caught on the middle and unable to use them.

The virtual dice are not even close to being realistic. The number of doubles generated is totally out of proportion. The allotment and timing of the doubles is often totally lopsided as well.
If it is BGA's idea that this makes for more exciting game play you could not be more wrong.
In a game like Backgammon, where strategies are based on the probabilities of certain rolls, inaccurate dice destroy the game completely.

I can only add to the crowd's dissatisfaction. Please ilmplement a true random dice system ans stop manipulating the draws for suspense
if you want leave the current system as it is and implement a paralle version with a true random algorithm

our randomizer is correct. The statistical distribution is mathematically proven by the 5 millions of backgammon games played on BGA since the game is online, which is just a incredibly huge statistic panel.

To reduce the random impact of the game, you can try the alpha backgammon matchplay game, with several points goal and the doubling cube.
