Sažetak pravila
Game Overview
dnup is a dynamic card game where card values constantly change by flipping them. Players attempt to be the first or second person to discard all hand cards to collect points. The game ends as soon as a player reaches a total of 4 points. Interaction and tactical rotations define the fast-paced gameplay.
Setup
At the start, each person receives 6 cards (for 2 or 3 players: 7 cards). Each card has different values from 1 to 10 at the top and bottom. The orientation of cards in your hand may not be changed at will during the game.
Gameplay
A turn always consists of two consecutive phases:
1. Phase: Discarding cards
If your own cards from the previous round are still on the table in front of you, move them to the general discard pile in the center of the table.
2. Phase: Choosing an action
You must perform exactly one of the following four actions:
- Action A: Playing cards
- Play a set (one or more cards of the same value) in front of you. Important: Your set must beat all other sets currently on the table of the same size.
- Action B: Adding a card
- You can add exactly one matching card from your hand to another player's set to increase its size. The new combined set must now beat any set on the table of its new size.
- Action C: Taking cards
- Take an entire set from another player. Rotate these cards by 180 degrees and add them to your hand.
- Action D: Rotating hand
- Rotate your entire hand of cards by 180 degrees. This changes the values of all your cards simultaneously. Your turn ends immediately after this action.
Beating Sets
A set is stronger than another if it consists of the same number of cards AND has a higher numerical value.
As soon as a set is beaten, the affected player must immediately take those cards from the table, rotate them 180 degrees, and add them back to their hand.
Scoring
A round ends when two players have emptied their hands.
- The first person receives 2 points.
- The second person receives 1 point.
The first player to reach 4 points wins the game.
